Services

Geotechnical Services

With over three decades of experience, GES regularly investigates projects involving unstable ground, bridges and retaining walls, significant cuts and fills, and the crossing of wetlands, washes, and other soft ground.

Materials Testing

At GES, our team of field and laboratory professionals are industry certified to observe and test soil, aggregate, concrete, masonry, structural steel, fire-resistive materials, and bituminous paving materials.

Special Inspections

With a team of dedicated and certified professionals we are able to perform the necessary tests and observations to keep a project moving forward. We shun the cookie cutter approach, adapting to our clients’ needs while verifying the materials used comply with the project’s plans and specifications.

Drilling & Well Monitoring

Our team, with the help of sister company, Eagle Drilling Services, establish and monitor wells for a variety of clients. Some wells are created to monitor water quality and the level of contaminates within the water, while others monitor the height of the water table and make recommendations to limit the amount of ground water seeping into an excavation or structure.

Ground Source Heat Exchange

A ground source heat exchange system takes advantage of the earth’s constant temperature, heating buildings in the winter, and cooling those same buildings in the summer, all while consuming considerably less energy than traditional heating and cooling systems. Virtually silent, there is no large fan needed to push the air through a HVAC system, and many buildings have seen an increase in property value.

Laboratory

Our laboratories are certified by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL), and complies with internationally recognized American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.
