Safety

Engineering, environmental, construction, and drilling can be highly hazardous industries. This is why safety is at the center of our company’s culture. Safety training is a regular component of our staff’s experience. Meeting agendas begin with a safety topic as does every project kick-off meeting. Every employee with even a remote possibility of working on the job site is given a hard hat and safety vest during their first week of work. Even our staff announcements include a Safety Matters component, and safety is a regular part of our social media presence.

Safety training includes adapting our procedures to meet the safety regulations of our clients. In the event of an emergency key personal on a job site are trained as “boots-on-the-ground” observers,  assessing the situation before communicating to relevant project stakeholders. With all the appropriate parties involved, GES can respond quickly and decisively.

Lead by a dedicated GES SafetySafety Matters icon Officer, our safety committee gathers monthly reviewing any challenges from the past, and identifying opportunities to become a safer company. At GES Safety Matters!
