Philanthropy

In addition to being our social responsibility, GES believes in giving back to the community that has given it so much. One of the greatest benefits of promoting philanthropy in the workplace is the positive environment that is built for staff. When employees and management feel they are working for a company with a true conscience, they will likely be more enthusiastic and engaged in their jobs. This builds a sense of community and teamwork which brings everyone together and leads to happier, more productive employees.

At GES, we encourage our staff to bring forth nonprofit organizations that they are passionate about and then work with designated GES team members to organize events whether it be a food drive, clothing drive, volunteering, or even shaving their heads to support childhood cancer research. We also offer matching-gifts programs to supplement workers’ contributions.

Most recently, to celebrate our 30 years of being in business, GES adopted 30 Nevada charities, one for each year in business. Wanting to help our Nevada community as much as possible, the thirty nonprofits varied greatly, assisting organizations in the education, health, youth sports, military veterans, and the environment to name a few. When it was all said and done, we assisted big names like Opportunity Village, Candlelighters and the Nevada Food Bank. But we also helped lesser-known organizations including The Blind Center, Horses For Heroes, and Girls On The Run.
