The first high rise residential building in Henderson since the Great Depression, the 20-story Pinnacle Residences at MacDonald Highlands will boast private garages and elevators, outdoor dining spaces and outdoor living spaces with stunning views of the valley.
The two towers will include paring garages below the towers which abut steep slopes and mountain terrains totaling just over 11 acres. The development is being compared to Summerlin’s One Queensridge Place.
Only two of the boring locations were initially accessible with an additional seven boring locations becoming available as the project progressed. Soil samples were obtained at about 5-footinervals within the upper 50 feet of the deeper borings and about every 10-foot interval after 50 feet. In our certified lab soils were tested for:
- Atterberg limits
- Swell potential
- Direct shear strength
- Grain size
- Moisture content
Rock samples were subjected to point load tests and unconfined compression tests.
