Laboratory

The laboratories at GES can perform a full range of advanced materials testing, specializing in soil, aggregate, masonry, asphalt, and concrete.  Our laboratories are accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Accreditation Program, inspected by AASHTO re:source and the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL), and complies with internationally recognized American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.

The AASHTO and CCRL accreditation programs recognize the competency of a testing laboratory in construction materials testing by assessing both the equipment and the staff’s capabilities.  The accreditation process is often long and arduous; however, GES has proudly been AASHTO and CCRL inspected and accredited by AAP for three decades. Our team of laboratory technicians constantly challenge each other to perform tests to the exact industry standards.

With the range of services offered, decades of experience, and locally recognized capabilities, it is not uncommon for other local firms to use our services for  materials tests including asphalt mixture, soil, aggregate, masonry, concrete and sprayed fire-resistive material.
