Salerno, North Las Vegas, Nevada GES’ scope included providing construction observation and testing services to include mass grading of building pads and roadways, testing of on-site soils for suitability as trench backfill, compaction testing of trench backfill for off-site utilities and on-site laterals, and testing to verify dedicated pavement design.

GES obtained practically reviewable information within the minimum search distances from the subject property as described below, for evaluation of recognized environmental conditions in connection with the subject property and nearby properties.  We reviewed information pertaining to standard environmental sources, physical setting sources, and historical land use.  Total construction cost was $30 million.

Terrasini, North Las Vegas, Nevada GES’ scope of services included providing construction observation and testing services for mass grading of building pads and roadways, testing of on-site soils for suitability as trench backfill, compaction testing of trench backfill for off-site utilities and on-site laterals, and testing to verify dedicated pavement design.  Upon completion of on-site grading, a Final Grading Report was prepared to summarize our test results.  For the Environmental portion of this project GES provided a Phase I ESA update in general accordance with ASTM E-1527-00 and Pulte Checklist. Total construction cost was $30 million.

Treviso, North Las Vegas, Nevada The project consisted post-grading analyses of the actual fill materials placed within the building pads.  The purpose of the post-grading analyses was to evaluate the in-place sulfate content of the fill materials placed in the building pads and to re-evaluate the thickness of the Type II Aggregate Base recommended beneath slab-on-grade of post-tensioned foundations.  GES’ scope of work included field exploration which was consist of up to 40 samples at finished pad elevation, laboratory testing, engineering evaluations and preparation of letter report to summarize findings and present recommendations.
