Borhan Moradi-cropped

Mr. Borhan Moradi, EI recently joined the GES team to assist in various geotechnical, environmental, and construction projects at the Project Manager’s discretion.  He is currently working on his Master’s Thesis in Civil and  Environmental Engineering (Topic: Transport Properties of Self Consolidating Concrete Containing .Nano-Silica Particles).

His experience includes studies concentrated on environments, geotechnical engineering, structures, transportation, and water resources.  His experience ranges from preparing estimates of scope and cost optimization to collecting and analyzing data to estimate time, money, resources, and labor; preparing estimates of contract changes for comparison to the contractor’s proposal estimates; performing risk analysis; reviewing of plans and specifications; developing project schedules; and reviewing contractor’s submittal.  At GES, he assists the project managers with geologic site reconnaissance, subsurface explorations, logging of geotechnical borings, literature research and review, interpretation of geotechnical and geological data, calculations, evaluations utilizing computer software, as well as assisting in the preparation of geotechnical reports and letters.
