• Engineering Program Manager in Mesquite, NV - *B.S. or M.S. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field

• Temp/Part-Time Engineering Field Technician - Six weeks to six months with possibility of becoming a regular FT position with benefits. Test, sample, observe and prepare detailed reports on construction materials such as soil, concrete and asphalt; ACI & Nuke Gauge certifications required; NAQTC & NICETs preferred.
  
  
• Drilling Program Manager - Responsible for overall supervision & coordination of all resources in a geotechnical drilling program in Las Vegas, including new sonic rig.

• Primavera Technician - – Temporary 6-Month Part-Time (20 hours/week) Position with opportunity for full-time
  
  ? Minimum 6 months experience with Primavera Contract Manager construction software required

• Engineering Assistants and Special Inspector (Part Time) - These are part-time positions with 2-year upper class SCHOLARSHIPS paid through grant funding from the State of Nevada Department of Training and Rehabilitation. The scholarships include both tuition at UNLV and textbooks for the final two years toward a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering. Scholarships require full/part-time enrollment at UNLV and up to 20 hours/week part-time employment at GES.

  Requirements:
  
  *Successful completion of two years of college (Fall 2010 or Spring 2011 graduation date) toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering
  *GPA of 3.0 or better
  *Valid NV drivers license
  *Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors
  *Excellent verbal and detailed writing skills
  *Computer skills, including experience with Word and Excel required, AutoCAD/GIS preferred
  
  
• Engineering Intern - 32 - 40 hours per week.
  * Valid NV drivers license
  * Master’s degree in civil engineering with focus in geotechnical
  * Engineering Intern licensure, with ability to earn Professional Engineering licensure
